COVID-19 Emergency Response

Since the lockdown on cause of the coronavirus outbreak, Romdhana has not been able to work. Her husband of 70 years old also cannot work because he has an advanced lung cancer. Doing a surgery is highly risky at this point, so he is taking medication and will soon undergo radiation treatment. To add to that, her two sons have disabilities. There are 7 people living in her small apartment. Through ADRA’s unconditional cash project, Romdhana was able to gain a newfound hope. Even though it may not be enough to cover all the expenses, it served as a portion of optimism to her. Once Romdhana received the money, she couldn’t stop expressing her gratitude.
