With the outbreak of the respiratory pandemic labeled Covid-19, the already rampant unemployment rate in Tunisia increased dramatically as a result of the national lockdown. ADRA Tunisia is targeting the most vulnerable unemployed families that are struggling to cope with the economic recession caused by Covid-19.
The provision of cash assistance will meet vulnerable households in order to diminish the negative impact of the economic recession and enable them to meet their basic needs (food, medicine, rent, etc). Responding to emergencies and providing disaster relief are powerful ways to show love in a hurting world.
